Electric Vehicles: Future Classics

IMEx Classic Vehicle Show is keen to celebrate the Future Classics, the renaissance in electric vehicles .. all EV are welcome to show

Electric Vehicles: Future Classics
– Sunday 27th June 2021 –

(note:  date changed from 13th June)

The number of electric vehicles on our roads is increasing rapidly. We may think of this as a new trend but until the early 20th century, the production of electrically powered vehicles flourished alongside those powered by the internal combustion engine

And, as recently as the 1950s, most people in the UK had their milk delivered by electric milk float

As part of the Ilminster Experience Classic Vehicle Show we’re keen to celebrate this renaissance in electric vehicles. The time it takes to charge the battery is coming down, the range of an electric car is going up, more mass-market models are going electric and more public charging points are being built, including here in Ilminster

..all electric vehicles are welcome to show..whether  your EV is a Tesla, Nissan Leaf, Vauxhall Corsa-e, Jaguar i-Pace, a Porsche Taycan, or one of the many other EVs now available,  we’d love to see you at the show

All these are our future classics ..and be sure to join in with electric motor cycles or bicycles, or even an electric milk float

To bring your vehicle into the Show, please prebook using a standard entry form  (or download a printed entry form) and ask to be grouped together as part of our Electric Vehicles: Future Classics (EV:FC) section of the show

COVID-19 ..Please note, there may still be some COVID restrictions in place in June and these might include restrictions about the number of vehicles we can allow on site. With that in mind we are currently insisting that all attendees have pre-booked
