IMEx 2021 – This year the Town Council has again organised the Ilminster Town Scarecrow Competition which all residents and local businesses of Ilminster are welcome to enter
The Theme for 2021 is “Break Free“

2nd Prize – The Mermaid (Swanmead Drive)
3rd Prize – Freddie (Sweet Surprise)
Community Prize – Gingerbreadman (Greenfylde School)

Closing date for entries: Monday 7 June
Entry forms are also available from the Town Council offices (open 10am – 12pm Monday – Friday) or calling the Town Council on 01460 52149 or collection from the Ilminster Arts Centre, at the Meeting House Ilminster
Scarecrows should be displayed where they can be seen easily and on view from midday Sunday 20th June until 8.00pm 23rd June 2021. The Scarecrows will be judged during this period. The locations of the scarecrows will be mapped – so the public can also walk round if they choose
The scarecrow 2021 directory and map will be available from 7 June to download here
The winners will be informed by Monday 28th June 2021 and there will be prizes to the value of £30, £20 and £15 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places and there will be a community prize
